Description:
Maximum Syd Barrett is a brand new audio documentary on this
most pioneering of artists, telling the whole story of his life
from forming one of the most influential bands of all time (Pink
Floyd), to cult solo status and on through retirement and his
sad demise.
His death was a tragic loss to the music world.
After forming Pink Floyd in the 60s, the troubled songwriter
left the group, to make precious few solo albums in the next
decade, before retiring completely.
His legacy continued for as long as he did however - as if he
never really went away - and it looks set to continue well into
the future.
This CD is a fitting tribute to the man and a must for any Floyd
or Barrett fan's collection.
The full color picture disc comes in a jewel case housed in a
deluxe slipcase and features an eight page illustrated booklet.
Written by
Keith Rodway and read by Sian Jones, with music by Amanda
Thompson, includes free poster, presented in sealed card
slipcase
